My Regal lillies have got less over the last few years, and with the dreaded beetle as well I have had no flowers at all this year, how can I give them some encouragement?
would potting them in some peat be any help?

Lilium regal, Lizzie? We grow them in the garden in a humusy soil, well drained, and the roots in shade. We have less stems than I would have expected this year and I am wondering if that is to do with the weather. They are just coming into flower now and, provided that they survive the gales, should look OK.
