I bought a Daphne odora in flower early this year, the one with golden leaf margins. It's now quite large in a very large pot but the whole plant is becoming paler, losing the gold margin and some of the leaves are yellowing quite badly.
I feed it once a fortnight with Growmore but I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Try epsom salts.

Could be badly pot-bound. If so, the feed and water won't be doing any good. Isn't feeding every two weeks a bit too much anyway, if the daphne is in suitable compost I wouldn't expect to feed it at all.

Thanks a lot. I don't think it's pot bound as it only got potted on into the large pot this spring. I used multi-purpose compost with a handful of bonemeal. I will stop feeding and try the Epsom salts tip, thank you Pimpernel, I'll try and fnd out how to apply and how much.
Wish I could plant it into the ground but haven't got any!
Very helpful, everyone and thanks again!
