A bougainvillea plant need full sunshine and warmth and has to be free draining. It will not survive our winters out doors so will have to be over wintered in green house, conservatory etc kept above 5 degrees c . The above mentioned it is best grown in the uk in a pot. Enjoy the plant its a beauty!
