I'm so pleased - my first attempt at gardening this year and i've managed to get seeds from my mum's lupin plants last year to grow and flower in my garden - i could hug them! :) a small milestone - but one i won't forget!

Ones first success with seed is always a thrill. But then so is one's latest success too.

That's a really lovely lupin. Have you decided what you're going to try next year?

ooo not sure steragram, i want a cottage garden effect, saw some on the photos on here and got very intimidated!! i'll have to broaden my knowledge of plants first and start planning for next year i think, at the moment i keep buying anything vaguely daisy like from B+Q (osteospermum, aster, still watching the echinacea grow, no flowers as yet) and so on!
I keep reading about verbena boniarensis (sic) and achillea, anything bee friendly - they're loving the scabiosa though!

Thanks all for the encouragement and kind words! :)
