I got it last year B's mum but as soon as I planted it it curled up and died :(

I know, very disappointing indeed. I have no idea why it died, it looked healthy on arrival and I planted it in a nice moist spot....I now wish I'd put it in a pot in the conservatory for a while to see if it would have grown in there. Most of the evergreen ones don't do well here sadly.

I have never been able to grow an evergreen clematis they just die on me and very quickly too.
