when can you prune camiellas

I live in west yorkshiremy garden is south facing so gets lots of sun. but l would like to just prune the camiellas back abit if possible please advice

As Telme* says you can prune now but will have less flowers next year. We just leave our alone to get on with it.

Hi Camiellas, welcome to Goy, now is the time to prune your camellias after flowering, depending on what you want just prune the ends of each branch to keep in shape if that is what you want other wise camellias will tolerate hard pruning if it should be outgrowing its space. The more branches you have the more flowers you will get!
