I have bought a climbing rose. How quickly do you think it will grow. I have made a frame of about twelve feet for it to grow along, just curious of a timescale.it is an iceberg with beautiful white flowers, it has grown about a foot since i planted it. see photo

It's a beautiful specimen, and must be very happy where it is. 12' should be enough - you are in control! Just prune it yearly to keep within your frame. They are usually pruned in late autumn or winter, after all the flowers are over. With a new plant, you may want to train growing shoots to your frame. I'm sure others will have further advice for you.

It looks happy! It may wait until next year to really get going. Should look spectacular.
