I've just planted three Gardenia Shrubs in full sun. I live in the southeast...near Atlanta, GA. Did I just make a mistake?

Maybe....In Florida they need afternoon shade otherwise they will burn up and die. I know Atlanta summers can be very hot. You might want to put up a shade for the afternoon sun when it starts to get really hot. It looks like it's going to be a dry, hot summer here in the South.
