What purpose do you want the ivy to serve - ground cover or climbing up something? How tall do you want it to get? Any of the hedera helix varieties should do, unless you want to cover a wall that's 20 feet high and wide... they like heavy soil, so hopefully will cope with occasional water logging, but if the area is wet for 6 months of the year, don't know how well it will cope.
