I have a lot of black iris's which flowered very well last year . This year I wasn't so lucky ,hardly any flowers.Anyone any ideas why they didn't flower. They have been grown the same as last year

I agree - these plants are pretty tolerant of soil and light/shade conditions, so it has to be the weather this year.

Previous question
Our irises aren't a patch on what they were last year, we're putting down to the extremely odd weather this year. Hot in March, cold and wet in April & May the plants don't know what they should be doing!
