My yucca gloriosa has produced a tall cane, flowered and is already drying. Please give me some tips on how to remove the drying stem if I have to.

I heard somewhere that after flowering it produces new shoots and leaves main " rosette " to die. Is this true and if so how can i prevent it.

Yucca gloriosa should flower every year if it's happy. Cut the old flowered stem off as far down as you can and look forward to more next year.
