My crab apple tree has developed some brown leaves at the end of several - though the minority of - branches. It produced loads of blossom, and the fruits are already beginning to swell. Is it just a result of the weather, or something more sinister? What should I do, if anything? Any advice gratefully received!

Thanks, Bamboo, I did think that might be wise. I'll have to get the stepladders out!

Not sure what it is, but I'd clip off the parts which have died back, back to healthy growth, in case it spreads down the branches.
