Yes - it will eventually need a large pot, or to be planted out. I've had one on my balcony for 4 years, now needs a bigger pot, but its not in a very large pot anyway.

If its been indoors or under cover, you'll need to harden it off first by putting it out during the day, extending the hours its outside over about a week to 10 days, until its out all night.
