Hi Gee, i had this problem too a couple of weeks ago, you go onto your photo, then click edit photo then click link to a plant in your garden,then your plant list comes up, i think hope thats right :^)

Thanks, Daylily. That works fine if you have already added the plant to the list. I was hoping to add to the list and then retrieve the photo either from GoY or straight from my computer. I can't seem to do that without duplicating some photos I have already shown. It might be me just having a senior moment :)

I dont think you can Gee. That is why some of us put 'for my records' when posting some photos - its so members realise its not really posted for comment but just to be add to their plant list.

when you add the plant to your list go back to the photo you want to add. click edit and then you get the chance to find the plant on the plant drop down list of 'plants in your garden'. you then select it and the photo of the plant goes into your garden list. Does that make sense? I know it works as I do it all the time, when I think I have the plant in my garden list already, then find I dont.

But that wont stop it appearing on his photo list if its a new posting SBG

i read it as the photo was re entered. so if the photo is already posted and then you add the plant you can then re-edit the photo.

I had that problem Gee, and just gave up and decided I was 'too old for all this' a favourite OH saying.

I've been adding plants but no photos, Dorjac. Will have another think about it when I am in the mood. I did ask the site organisers but so far have had no response :(
