I have a astilbi plant which has flower stalks appearing. Is it too late to divide the plant. At present the plant size is a metre wide and about 15" wide.

if you can leave it til autumn then i would. I split mine early feb before growth started.

You will lose the flowers if you do - best divided in autumn anyway.
