has anyone got any ideas what form of periwinkle this is. It seems to have much slender petals than the normal. Its actually growing on a footpath that I take on my way to work

I'm wondering if it might be vinca major hirsuta, but I'm not sure. That subspecies is supposed to have darker blue/purple flowers and narrower petals. I've never seen one before though.
