What's the info on growing pelargonium graveolens for mosquito repellent.

Answers

Pyrethrum varieties repel mosquitoes, Pelargonium citrosum will if you prune or brush the leaves to release the scent. The pelargonium you mention has oil which mosquitoes don't like, but it's the oil, not the plant itself, so not sure how effective it'd be against them. Usually the extracted oil (rose geranium oil) is applied as a repellant.
