Would this rose work in a north-facing pot?
I have a paved north-facing area around my back door. I see that the rose 'Souvenir du Docteur Jamain' is recommended for this aspect, but I was wondering if it would work in a very deep pot? I was thinking that it could provide some fragrance around the door. Thanks.

Thanks, I think I was being a bit unrealistic, I get a bit over-enthusiastic with the roses :) I will have a re-think.

It might not work for long - this one reaches 3 metres, which it won't be able to do contained in a pot.
