hardy climber for part shade

could anyone recommend a hardy climber for a partly shaded fence that is north fancing and in clay soil?

We get asked this question quite a lot. Try typing climber shade in search and see what it comes up with. There will be some other suggestions.
The clay soil could be improved by double digging with a good compost before you put in the new plant.
