I will hope for the best for you, I would say you are a month too soon, unless they are covered with cloches.

Also, keep an eye out for slugs and snails, they love soft new growth. Plastic soft drink bottles cut in half are good for putting over seedlings at night to protect them if you can't afford the real cloches.

mine take 2-3 weeks in the unheated greenhouse at this time of year. dont put them outside until about mid/late May.

If mum, I mean Fordey is too early, would it not be a good idea to take out the seeds now and re plant new ones next month??
