I have a shrub litheosoernum adrianne it has turned mostly brown (I think probabely wind damage) Although it is still green in parts, willit recover or is it a lost cause?

Sorry I've never heard of that plant and neither has Google... do you mean lithospermum?

That's what came to mind MG. Now called Lithodora.
IF this is what it is, only the green bits will grow, although you might get some new growth from cutting back the brown bits hard. Will spoil the look of the plant, though, if it is shrub sized as you say.

If it is suspect conditions too dry rather than too much water!
