Salsify and Scorzonera I have just planted seeds has anybody ever grown these before.

Not keen on Salsify, but Scorzonera we grow every year and rather like. The roots often are a bit spindly when you come to use them but unlike say Parsnips they are perennial so you may leave some in the ground for the following season to get a bigger root. In fact they will regrow like Dandelions from any bit of root left in the ground and get bigger and bigger.
