Hi bought a pyracantha saphyr red last year, planted it in a planter growing against a trellis, on east facing wall, all was well, however now it has lost its leaves and looks lifeless, will it recover ?

Thanks for any advice

Scrape a bit of bark off with your thub, if its brwn its dead. repeat closer to the main stem. if non shows green then sorry you have lost it. If there is some green water the plant well.

as its in a planter did you water it through the winter. It has been very dry and this is most likely the cause.
