Can you give me tips on the care of this plant - I

The plant I have is in a pot, that sits on the windowsill in my bathroom - in the UK - it is a juvenile plant with one long branch, that divides into two with the leaves on. The pot is 6.5 inches across.
Should I prune it? does it need to be in a bigger pot.

This is known as a Bottle Tree which needs to be planted in the garden, but be careful as it grows very tall, another definition of this plant is - large tree from Queendland.
