Hi All
Used compost from last year baskets and pots can I use for raised veg beds or will it be too spent

No nutrients left but excellent for soil conditioning and moisture retention. Make sure that you examine the contents of your pots for overwintering vine weevil though.

Jimmy's right, no nutrients left - spread it over the beds, on the top, checking for pests as you go, but if you leave it on the top of the soil, the birds should finish off any obvious pests - free lunch. This assumes you had no fungal problems with plants growing in the compost previously.

How do I say thanks?
