Has everyone recieved their free clematis from Gardeners' World by now? Mine arrived today,very well packaged.Rather reticent to plant outside as instructions say as it is so small and vunerable looking!!

I would never risk planting out a Clematis that size - I'd grow it on and pot it on in the spring. Then plant it out when it had grown to a good size.
My own opinion of course, but based on getting similar-sized plants.

A nice looking plant though. Have you got somewhere cool but sheltered like a cold frame that it could harden off in?
