I have planted bamboo this year and unsure of how to care for it in the winter months. Do I, or can I cover it to protect the plant??

Thank you for your response. I'm really not sure what type it is I will have to check on the labelling which I believe is still attached. Hopefully it is a hardy type. If so, do you think it will survive the winter without additional protection?

If it is hardy then it should be fine - as long as the ground in not flooded.

Hi, do you know what type of Bamboo you have? There are hardy to non hardy types. Some like Fargesia murielae are happy in damp, windy conditions.
