Can you identify the weed which is in the enclosed photos and if so how do I get rid of it.It has invaded our allotments over the last 2 years.

Its difficult to tell, it could be a willowherb, have you allowed it to grow full size and flower? if yes what is it like. Does it creep along the top/under the soil or does it clump up? sorry about the questions but it often helps in the id.
