Organic Slug Pellets

Hello Barbara,
Could be that the pellets are absorbed in the soil, blue slug pellets are water proof. In the days when we used Meta bars and ground oats, the Meta absorbed into the body of the slugs and snails causing them to shrivel up.

hello spritz, mine disappeared but we had had rain. I didnt see any evidence of them doing their job either. :o(

Thanks to both of you! I haven't found any dead snails, either. I am not convinced about these pellets...and I got two for the price of one...:-(

Why is it that the only bargains I find turn out to be useless?

Hello, Spritzhenry; Don't worry about the slug pellets not working - they do! I scattered some on the ledge of my terrace in the evening, and in the morning there were dozens of the little black moster slugs all shrivelled up with a pellet still in their mouths! (They do have mouths!)
