hi, this weed is detroying my lawn any ideas how to get rid.

Its a bit hard to see properly, but it looks like member of the moss or algae family. Is it damp and shady because it might just be drainage? If it is try spiking it with a fork all over or you can hire a spiking machine cheaply and thats a lot faster! Then ou brush sharp sand over the area so it falls into the holes. Sounds hard work but it should make a difference.

Looks like liverwort but I am not sure if I am seeing little yellow flowers in the middle of green leaves - the picture is a liitle fuzzy, Nomp. Anyway, if Liverwort then I agree with Chloris.

I think it looks like liverwort too.Although I've never tried it, I have read that they don't like lime.
