Logpile as a wildlife habitat. How can I source enough logs to create a couple of logpiles in my garden without having to purchase a bulk order (which I dont need and wont use)? Thanks - Simon, South London

The logs don't need to be very big and you don't need a huge amount.Also you don't need to build it all in one go. If you get out into the countryside at all you can often find some useful material lying on the ground, which you can chop up and use for free.
