Just a quick question.

Are these butterfly eggs.

If so, would they survive outside un sheleterwed or would they need to be moved in to a sheltered psootion.

They were found on a piece of my rose which was when it was cut back a bit.

yes they are insect eggs but cant tell which one, might be butterfly but unusual on a rose. they may well overwinter in the leaf litter when the leaves fall.
