i want to plant some plants to attract butterfies what can i use?

Verbena bonariensis, Lavender, Origanum 'Herrenhausen', all attract butterflies in my garden. They all like a sunny position,

And sedum spectabile which flowers in autumn

Asters, Alliums, Honesty, Echinops, Echinacea, Liatris..

bergamot [Monarda] scabious, both perennial; virginia stock, alyssium, limnanthes [annuals] all do the job in my experience.

And of course the Budlia known as the butterfly bush!
