Snowdrops.

My snowdrops have been planted in the ground from pots. They're not doing very well. They're very slow and don't look as if they will flower. Should I feed them ? If so what is the best to give ?

What type are they Hywel? Could be a later flowering type. I know mine do nothing until March. I was worried when I first got them.

I don't know the type. - must be later flowering ones. Shall I feed them ? I know some things don't like too rich a soil.

Don't look very happy yet, do they Hywel. Did they flower last year in the pots? Actually, they look rather young bulbs in the picture, not ready to flower yet. I would leave them where they are for a year and see what happens next year. If you want, give them a feed of liquid tomato fertiliser or bonemeal at the end of March then wish them well.

Thank you.
I bought them a few years ago in pots and they were full of flowers. I planted them in tubs with Helebores - ( knew I was going to move so that's why I didn't put them in the ground. ) They flowered well in the tubs for about 2 years but last yr not very well. This year they're in the ground but slow.
I shall try feeding them - thank you.

Ah. You moved them. No prob. Give them another year (and a quick feed).

Well I just tipped them out of the tub and into the ground. I didn't disturb the roots.
I think maybe now they needed fresh soil.
Thanks John
