I thought Lupins were perennials.

Where do you move them to if I want to keep them for next year? Should I pot them and keep in garage?

Aimankay lupins are perennials. There is no reason to lift them and put them in the garage just leave them where they are. Ken wants to move his from one part of the garden to another - at least that is how I understood his question.
