Hi and welcome to GoY - could you give a few more details please and add a photo to your question. An established grape vine can survive long spells of dry weather but a newly planted one will need to be kept watered. Is this in a greenhouse or outside in the ground?

I have lost mine MG..It was contained in a huge pot, you are right I neglected the watering.
