When deadheading sisyrinchiums, which parts of the plant do you remove - just the old flower heads or the whole flower stalk?
Thanks

Cut off the whole flowering stalk. Bumble

I sometimes just remove the flowered part at the top if there's a lot of leaves near the base, as there often are with this plant.

It doesn't really matter. They look a little tidier with the whole stalk removed but the improtant thing is to remove the seedheads before they self seed everywhere.

How do I say thanks?
