can anyone tell me why my corgette did better in the grenhouse than outside , i put them out they were healthy then there leaves were green and bushy then within weeks the leaves went mottled and yellow and not half as bushy. they look quite pathetic now.where did i go wrong. i kept putting pot ash on them. and mixing in with the soil.

When I have grown them in the allotment I haven't fed them other than enriching the soil initially. The ones I have grown outside in the garden have got mildew and I am giving up on them this year. I think the weather has been iffy this year and a lot of things have suffered.
