i think i described plant wrong before it has leaves right down stem and has grown quite talli thank everyone who is trying to help meit does not look like scabiosa in seed book

There are various type os Scabious, all gorgeous.

After the last question about putting photos on, I see you've done it!
(Sorry I'm not sure what flower is, but it does actually look like a scabious, not sure which one. Mine has leaves on the stem, too.)

Definitely NOT Verbena bonariensis. Try Scabious "Butterfly Blue" for the lilac-y one

Annual Scabious (Scabiosa atropurpurea). It's a common winter annual around here, but more likely a summer grower in the UK.
