Hello everyone, I have just purchased a house and have a massive jurassic park of 7 foot brambles in an area 50 foot by 20, What would you suggest for killing it all as cutters are proving hard to do it and my time for cutting it is slim. Thanks all.

Hi Dan and welcome to GoY sorry but cutting them back and then digging up the roots is really the only way forward. Get a pair of long handled lopers to cut them down with.

If you're really short of time, you could just wait for winter to kill off the topgrowth and then clear it all - but you will still need to remove all the roots, or poison the woody parts with SBK, because they'll grow again next year if you don't.

How do I say thanks?
