Rudbeckia, not sure which one - Marmalade? R. hirta? Depends on the height as much as anything.

I agree Rudbeckia could be "Goldsturm". I have one, it looks very similar to yours?? It should be 90cm x 60cm, (3ft x 2ft) but I only planted it a couple of months ago.

thank you for that! The Goldsturm sounds familiar too. Height and spread are the same too. I bought 2 of these at an end of season sale in a garden centre about 4 years ago and the label has disappeared, if there ever was one. I shall make note of the name straight away!! :))
