Is it to late to do anything to save these Apple trees up our lane ? they are not ours ... we have put wire round the ones that have only been half eaten there are about 10 like this ........

Oh dear. If the rabbits have nibbled all the way round and removed the bark then the trees will probably die. The microscopic tubes that pass water and nutrients up the trunk are just under the bark. If a small section is left then the tree might survive. Strangely, ring-barking is a method of reducing apple tree vigour. Good luck.
