Which month can I plant amarilla bulbs

Free State, South Africa Za

My amarilla plant pot is so full of bulbs and I want to thin them out. How do I go about it and when is the best time to do so

I assume you mean Amaryllis. As it's warm where you are you can do it now. Knock the clump out of the pot and gently tease the bulbs apart. Replant them singly or in groups in fresh compost. Trim off any withered old roots and leave the neck of the bulb above soil level.
