i am going to try grafting another rose onto a climber must it be another climber or can i graft a hybrid t thanks for any advice bd

I can't see any reason why it has to be a climber - though it might look a bit weird if you had, say, an HT type bush coming out of a climber...

That's how rose standards are made--a bush rose grafted onto a long cutting from a climbing rootstock. Just remember that normal climber pruning includes removing the oldest canes on a regular basis, to keep fresh, floriferous canes coming.

How do I say thanks?
