After- care for Ranunculus corms please as I have just emptied two pots of them. Claw-like corms seem to have multiplied in the pots. Should I dry them off & store until Spring please.

I'd replant in fresh compost now.

I've got some too and the label on the pot says "Grows for one season only". I was hoping they'd come up next year. Any tips for getting the best from them? Do they need winter protection or would they grow in the ground?

Yes, dried out bulbs etc often die. Keep them just moist until you see new growth next year.

Thanks Mg and Volunteer ... they'll be going back in pots of fresh compost asap and can sit out the Winter in the cold frame.

Ranunculus bulbs are among the few that can be dried out completely, and still come up later. In their native habitat, they go completely dry from April through September.

How do I say thanks?
