We're ALL gardeners of some sort or other on this site.
every one who grows deliberatly is a gardener even if its patchy grass so that cuts it down to a potential 50,000,000 or so i know then at least lol ha ha lol . sorry im only messing about you got to laugh
you don't say where you live or why you want a gardener.
Do you want someone to recommend a gardener. Have you tried your local paper or Yell.com?
Most of the folk on this site are avid gardeners and there
one or two comics.
Good luck with your search, but for anyone one GoY to help they need more info.
If you mean professional gardeners, yes, I do.
What do you want a gardener for?
the secret question lol

Erm, for doing the garden, Pam24? Thank heavens some people do want gardeners, I'd have been out of a job for a long time if they didn't...
I think Bamboo, Pam meant in what context do you need a gardener?
Gardening can be very specialized as I'm sure you of all people appreciate.
You have to admit the question was a bit vague.
It's funny how some people post questions and then nothing when people take the time and trouble to send a reply. Not even thank you.
My mum used to say" please, thank you and a smile will get you a long way"
:) :) :) :) :) To all of the above. Hopefully you haven't scared Marva away :)
Well perhaps Marva hasn't had time to come back to her query, Grannyb - we never know what's going on in people's lives, do we? Perhaps she's unclear about how to answer. Or perhaps she's already found a local gardener to do whatever it is she wants - and personally, I'm not a great one for "shoulds" and "oughts", nor am I particularly troubled if people don't respond to questions I ask them - its their choice, not mine, I've done my bit. If Marva requires more assistance, she'll answer one way or another - and I will still try to help if I see it, lack of please and thank you notwithstanding.

i fully agree with bamboo .
I can't help wondering if it was someone with a sarcastic sense of humour? Puts me in mind of the old joke of a kid sticking his head in the door of the local chippy and saying "Got any chips left?" Answer: "Yes." Retort: "Ha! Shouldn't have made so many!"
Could be, but best not make judgements yet, I think, Nariz.
Not a judgement - just a thought.
