Cupressus macrocarpa Goldcrest - my impulse spring buy in Tescos - cute 10" babies - they have doubled in size over five months - I am container growing in 10" by 10" circular pots - has anyone any experience of root pruning these - I belive they will take some top pruning but I have to keep them to 32" max for balcony as long as possible as there does not seem to be a local rehoming society for conifers.

Oh yes there is Tamesis. Put them on your local 'Freecycle' and they will be snapped up. Lift them from the pots and put in a moist plastic bag just before collection.
