I sowed 2 packets on 13th June and the plants are now doing very well but I think you still have plenty of time to sow now. One packet was Band of Nobles Mixed and the other a Dwarf variety. I'm not sure why but far more Nobles have germinated than have Dwarf ones.

I usually set seed in early April. About a third flower the same year and the other two thirds next year and therafter.
If you set seed now you may possibly get some flowers this year but if not,certainly next year
