When should I plant my Dunluce potatoes.

The shoots on them are alredy 3-4 inches long. Have never tried these before

To me the shoots are too long. Have you kept them in the dark?, if not the only way you could grow them is in pots in the greenhouse.
Watch out for greenfly. If you do perhaps the Morrisons buckets that Sarraceniac did a post on may be big enough.
