Just sow into seed compost and cover lightly. Leave to germinate in a cold frame and grow on to plant out in the Spring.

That is a good idea but what i do is just loosen some top soil around your existing plant and sprinkle or anywhere else you may want to grow them, and then cross your fingers, they can germinate anytime between now and next spring... this year i had 24 blooms, Alternatively you can store them in a cool/dry/dark place until february then sprinkle but i would advise sprinkle now. ;)
